Description
Out on the Grand Banks - The Grand Banks off Newfoundland are underwater plateaus. They are relatively shallow in depth. The mixing of the cold Labrador Current, the warm waters of the Gulf Stream, and the shape of the ocean bottom, causes nutrients to come to the surface. These conditions create rich fishing grounds. Trawling is a method of fishing that involves actively dragging or pulling a fishing net through the water behind one or more trawlers. They are pulled along the bottom of the sea or in midwater at a specified depth.
Done on recycled material. High resolution scan shows interesting fibrous texture, and allows larger print size. (Commercial License Available.)
